The Institute for the Advancement of AD/HD Coaching (IAAC) has been formed to define, protect the integrity of, and support the profession of AD/HD coaching in the world and to provide credentialing, certification and ethical standards for AD/HD coaching.
"It is our Mission to advance the field of AD/HD coaching through the development and delivery of credentialing and certification for AD/HD coaches worldwide, in pursuit of excellence in our profession.
AD/HD coaches are required to have a specific skill set and core knowledge unlike that of a non-AD/HD coach. By providing AD/HD specific certification for coaches, we hope to standardize the field of AD/HD coaching. It is the hope of the Institute that prospective clients will be able to learn about the IAAC certification criteria and make an informed decision when choosing an AD/HD coach. In addition, we wish to provide a quality standard that other related professionals will look to as resource in recommending AD/HD Coaches in their area."
The Institute for the Advancement of AD/HD Coaching has certified Dr. Sarita Schapiro as a Senior Certified AD/HD Coach (SCAC).
